Dr. Jocelyn L. Anderton graduated from The College of Wooster, in Wooster, OH where she was awarded a B.A. in Chemistry. She then pursued her dental education at The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Anderton is a volunteer in the Dental Clinic at Centre Volunteers in Medicine, where she provides free dental care to the uninsured and those in need.

Dr. Anderton has a passion for Cosmetic Dentistry, Smile Restorations and Makeovers, offering a variety of smile-enhancing procedures. Through the Zimmer Institute and The Academy of General Dentistry; Dr. Anderton has furthered her commitment to Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry by completing Implant Dentistry Certifications in Parsippany, N.J. and Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry Arts in Clearwater Beach, FL.
She has lectured at Penn State University on diagnostic recognition and effective treatment of Dental Diseases and TMJ Disorders, she also supports the Penn State Pre-Dental Society, providing guidance to undergraduates with an interest in the dental arts.
Dr. Anderton was born and raised in Oil City, PA and comes from a dental family-both her father and brother are dentists. While in high school, she met her future husband, Eric, a Penn State graduate. Growing up with a father who is a dentist exposed Jocelyn to the dental arts at an early age; her passion for dentistry stems from her belief that; “Moments are remembered in laughs and smiles.” The Andertons returned to State College to begin a family; why would you want to live anywhere else? Jocelyn, Eric, their daughters Kenna and Corinne and son Theo enjoy everything Happy Valley has to offer.
